Of course, you can make compote anytime and anywhere. Apart from the readily available materials, the production process is also very simple and quick. Oh yes, you can change the ingredients according to taste. But from my experience of trying this or that mix, I personally believe that banana and jackfruit mix is ​​our family favorite. Hubby agrees too..... Hmm yummy!! 
 
Items: 
  • 1 cassava or potato (200 g) 
  • 2 bananas (peeled bananas if you have them) 
  • 100 g of coconut sugar, comb 
  • 100 g of sugar 
  • 400ml coconut milk 
  • 400 ml of water 
  • 1 pandan leaf, beaten 
  • 3 to 5 ripe jackfruits, cut into small pieces 
  • ½ teaspoon of salt 
How to do it: 
  1. Cut the sweet potato and cut it according to your taste.
  2. Cut the kepok banana, cut it according to your taste. Heat water, brown sugar, granulated sugar, pandan leaves and sweet potatoes and cook until the sweet potatoes are cooked/soft.
  3. Add coconut milk, banana slices and jackfruit. Add salt to taste.
  4. Bring back to a boil over medium heat until the fruit is cooked, stirring. Make sure the banana and jackfruit are not soft.
  5. Serve hot or cold.
